Join us as we discuss ways Christian theology has been twisted to justify domestic violence and how some responses of churches can create more harm and experiences of abuse for victims of domestic abuse/intimate partner violence. We also provide U-Turns for ways churches can support people in situations of domestic abuse/IPV in safe, loving, and Biblical ways.

Resources for those in abusive relationships:

This website (the U.S. national domestic violence hotline) has a wealth of resources including a phone number, a chat feature, and many tools to help plan for safety and seek support.

The North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Resources by U.S. State on Violence Against Women

FindLaw's Domestic Violence Resources

Resources for our International Listeners (note: it has been hard for us to find a good resource with international information beyond this one. If you have one, please send to us and we will post on our website.)

Thank you for listening! We really like you.
